Made of high-strength matted plastic, the reservoir-style humidifier uses internal vapor chambers to maintain a consistent level of humidity. Because it holds 8 to 10 ounces of water, the device can go several weeks to well over a month without refilling (depending on the ambient humidity and how often you open your humidor, letting outside air in). The only problem is that the device is about seven inches long and two medium-gauge cigars wide, and it sits among your smokes-- which means you might need to do a little rearranging.
